Subdue my anger like the quiet follows the storm. You treat me like an icicle: melt me 'til I'm warm. Now I'm fried. Flip me over on both sides. You try to burn me. Yeah, I'd like to see you try.

The sun will come out and eventually so will I. Out of my shell that you forced me inside. You try to lure me out so you'll be satisfied. When I turn around, stab my back and cut my pride. I let it bleed out.

Like the flower during winter, I won't die. See the ice patch getting thinner? I won't die. Coming back every spring and ask the sun to revisit life because I won't die.
